After being beaten up by his father and kicked out of his home, 16-year-old Jace drives cross country to find his estranged brother and tries to start a new life. All the while Jace deals with guilt over leaving his mother behind and not being there to protect her. Together the brothers must overcome emotional scars in order not to become their father.
